Rafael Nadal Defeats Roger Federer, 7-5, 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-1, to Win His Sixth French Open Title
Top-ranked Rafael Nadal, the defending champion, won his record-tying sixth French Open singles title by defeating third-seeded Roger Federer on Sunday in Paris.
Nadal, 45-1 in his career at Roland Garros, became the second man to win six French Opens, tying Bjorn Borg.
