The new coach brought a new one from Catania Roma, Vincenzo Montella, feel happy to handle Rossazzurri and do not regret having to leave the Italian capital's club.

L'Aeroplanino previous manager was promoted from the youth academy to the senior team when Claudio Ranieri's back. Montella also managed to bring the i Lupi into the Europa League qualifiers next season after finishing sixth in the 2010/2011 season of Serie A.

However, he eventually replaced by Luis Enrique actually chosen by the new management of Rome who had just taken over by new owners.

Although the position is not maintained by the club who had defended while still actively playing, Montella quite understand the reason for Rome to replace it with the Spanish coach and felt the move to Catania can make it grow.

"Perhaps the Romans wanted a change of mentality, so they choose a foreign coach like Luis Enrique who have no pressure," Montella said on Sky Sport Italia.

"It's better for me to change the atmosphere, choose a less prestigious team that will allow me to grow. I am happy to be in Catania where I found a club that highly organized, structured, and competent. I consider this to be the best decision I could make now, "said Montella.
